Alterations are important for a perfect fit so don’t be discouraged if your dress doesn’t fit you perfectly. Elegance by Carbonneau featured on “Don’t Tell the Bride” on Oprah’s OWN channel
What happens when you give a cash-strapped couple $25,000 to create their dream wedding? A lot of drama when the bride and groom are separated three weeks leading up to the nuptials, and the groom must plan the wedding with no help from his fiancee!
Our store, Elegance by Carbonneau, was featured in a recent episode of “Don’t Tell the Bride” on Oprah’s OWN channel. We had a fun time with the groom and bridesmaids, and the tv crew! Our clip shows the groom working with our sales associates Dawn & Cathy, and the store owner Lynn.

Dressing the part – Family business evolves into elegant gowns
More than a hundred packages wait to be shipped, and her voice mail is filled with requests for afternoon appointments. Still, on this day during the prom season, 27-year-old Lynn M. Carbonneau finds time to help customers at Elegance by Carbonneau, a new Worcester retail bridal store that builds on the Carbonneau family’s latest generation and long history in retailing.
“It’s important that my customers are well taken care of and look like the princesses they dream of as little girls,” said Ms. Carbonneau.
Seventeen-year-old Jessica Doerfler, a senior at Shrewsbury High School, recently bought a black, strapless dress for her senior prom at the store for $180. Ms. Carbonneau reassured her that no other girl would have the same dress at her prom night.
